Resilient Theatre: In Bloom
Sneaker Ball + Fundraiser
We had our first fundraiser / party! While colder than expected, we had a (sneaker) ball May 14 at the Moxy DC rooftop. We planned for an unforgettable evening of community, creativity, and celebration, and YOU ALL DELIVERED. The heart, the support, the fashion ... unmatched. We'll be posting updates here and via our newsletter and socials. Be sure you're connected with us to hear more, and to stay updated on our next steps for advocacy and fundraising -- www.resilienttheatreproject.org/connect.
Get involved!
Just as theater is better in community, so is this work towards the future we're building together where the wellbeing of artists, makers, staff, and leadership is as essential to theater as the art itself, allowing the show to go on without harm to those who make it possible.

More information on how to get more involved at the links below or reach out to us: hello@resilienttheatreproject.org.

Become a patron.
As the Kit Kat Club Emcee reminds us, "money makes the world go around." And as we like to say at RTP, we're working with and within certain real and immutable constraints (time, money, resources, competition). So, yes, we need dollars to do this work, both to build organizational capacity and to offer grants and resources to theatres across the country. No amount too small (or too large), we thank you:

Become a partner.
Are you or your org working towards a similar goal to ensure theater makers and creatives are supported and uplifted, especially as the world keeps trying to get darker? Do you share our belief in the power of art to connect us, heal us, and move us forward? Let's collaborate (on events, actions, messaging, advocacy, fundraising, the works)!

Volunteer.
We can always use enthusiastic thinkers, creators, and doers! That could be joining our Board, our advisory council, or one of our working groups focused on advocacy, outreach, grantmaking, or operations. Or volunteering in a more informal way like a specific event or brainstorm.
